Christelle Damiens - guest speaker at the NW BDC IT Hub on 27-7-2010
June 02, 10Christelle will be a guest speaker at the North West Business Development Centre IT Hub on 27 July 2010. As a director and founder of Exportia, Christelle will talk about her experience in assisting Australian IT companies develop export opportunities in Europe.
Exportia attended Medica 2009
December 10, 09On 18 - 20 November 2009, Oksana Dmitrijenko, Exportia’s Project Manager, has attended Medica Trade Fair 2009, the world’s leading medical conference in Dusseldorf, Germany, that welcomes specialists and trade visitors from around the world. Medica reports that a little over 137,000 trade visitors from over 100 countries registered for the event. 45% of all visitors came from outside Germany, as a particularly high number traveled to Düsseldorf from the Asian growth markets and the Arab region. 4,318 exhibitors from 59 nations showcased countless new products, systems and services for the entire spectrum of both in- and out-patient care.

Innovate SA Product Development Case Studies with Export focus

Christelle Damiens, Director of Exportia, gave a joined presentation with Exportia’s client Redarc, at Innovate SA on Thursday, 10 December 2009. In her presentation Christelle has outlined the steps that Exportia undertook to successfully implement the export strategy for Redarc in France. Exportia has conducted an extensive Market Research Study on EU markets, assisted in defining the right target market, market segment and the entry strategy, organised a market visit to a specific Trade Show of interest and accompanied Redarc CEO to visits with potential manufacturers and distributors. Exportia now conducts follow-up meetings on behalf of Redarc and assists in conducting contract negotiation strategy with successful outcomes.
Christelle has also provided invaluable tips on how to export innovative products to France.
Innovate SA assists Australian companies become competitive on international arena. Over 50 South Australia’s businesses were invited to hear about the innovative product commercialisation capability in South Australia and the development of EU export markets for Redarc with Exportia’s assistance.

Best Emerging Chamber Award to FACCI SA
September 05, 08The Council for International Trade and Commerce SA (CITCSA) is the peak body for South Australia’s 40 international chambers of commerce and business councils. It supports member chambers and councils in developing worldwide networks to facilitate market access for the export of South Australian goods and services, through bilateral relations with their countries of origin.
The CITCSA Awards celebrate the achievements of South Australia’s international chambers of commerce and business councils and the individuals who drive them.
FACCI SA has won the Small and Emerging Chamber Award announced on the 5th of September. This award is for a small business chamber or council that has displayed outstanding achievements with minimal resources. Particular emphasis is placed on the development of its members, assisting and supporting them to operate successfully.
